Our System of Yoga

WHAT IS TRADITIONAL YOGA?

We call our system Traditional Yoga. Traditional Yoga was developed right here by the founder/director of Mid Hudson School of Yoga. After teaching and training in Yoga for many years, Master Yogi Caruso saw the systems he had learned were lacking in many ways.

There was too much competition, perfection, and potential for injury without enough fundamentals, fitness, safety, and recognition of progress. He also learned that most Yoga systems do not teach the complete science of Yoga which was originally designed to guide people to reach their highest levels of health and happiness, not to bend and twist themselves into human pretzels.

Having trained for 14 years under the direct guidance of two Yoga Masters from India, (with additional training in Bushido, Zen, and Shiatsu), Master Caruso has developed a modern form and format to teach the entire science of self mastery he calls Traditional Yoga.

Traditional Yoga is designed for today's adults. It will teach you how to balance and master yourself and your life in a safe orderly system. It will make you healthy and happy. Over the past 6 years it has become one of the most successful Yoga Systems in the world.
